Emergency Care Practitioner Clinical Practice Guidelines

With the Clinical Practice Guidelines released by the Professional Board of Emergency Care (PBEC) for use and implementation by Emergency Care Practitioner, during this course you will learn new skills and drug protocols that were not in your scope before. These include, but not limited to:

  • Surgical Cricothyroidotomy (adults)
  • Noninvasive ventilation & mechanical infant resuscitator
  • Use of capnography
  • Use of Topical Hemostatic agents
  • Use of an ultrasound
  • Administration of:
    • TXA, Thrombin inhibitors, Oxytocin, Nifedipine, Dopamine, Dexamethasone, Dobutamine,
    • Beta blockers, Cyanide antidotes, IV Nitrates.
